Professor Dr. Noor Azuan Abu Osman is a world-renowned biomechanical and bioengineering expert whose award-winning innovations in prosthetics, orthotics, and orthopaedic implants have transformed lives globally, earning him prestigious honours including the UK Blesma Award, Belgium’s Forschheimer Prize, and multiple national recognitions. He has led major academic and industry transformations — including propelling Universiti Malaya’s Faculty of Engineering into the world’s Top 10 — and currently serves as Vice-Chancellor of Universiti Malaya since November 2023.
